Chris Iwelumo is out to show he is ready for the *Premier League .

Iwelumo, 31, has scored twice in seven matches for Bristol City since arriving on loan from Wolves.

But he fancies another crack at the big time – and wants more goals at Reading today to send a message to Wolves boss Mick McCarthy

.Iwelumo failed to get off the mark in eight Premier League games for McCarthy’s men.
He said: “I am *enjoying it with Bristol City.

“But I have waited all my career to play in the Premier League.

“And I want to go back to Wolves at some stage and prove I can cope at that level.”

Reading are after a fifth straight home league win but boss *Brian *McDermott has banned play-off talk.

He said: “We are 11 points adrift with a *couple of games in hand but I make sure we don’t discuss it.”
