Tottenham Hotspur have today confirmed that they have concluded a deal with Brazilian club Internacional for the transfer of midfielder Sandro.

The player will join Spurs for next season, subject to a medical.

A statement on the club's official website reads:

"We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Internacional for the transfer of Sandro to the Club, subject to the player passing a medical examination.

"The Brazil international will join up with our squad following the conclusion of Internacional's Copa Libertadores campaign this summer."

Sandro, 21, has eight caps for the Brazil Under-20 team and made his full international debut last September against Chile in a World Cup qualifier.
