Default Robbie Keane dismisses claim it is easy to score goals at Celtic

Following his hat-trick against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, on-loan Spurs striker Robbie Keane has dismissed the suggestion that it is easy to score goals in Scotland.

Keane has claimed eight goals in eight games in all competitions after he struggled to get in the Tottenham first team under Harry Redknapp earlier in the season.

When asked if it was easier to score goals in Scotland, Keane said: "You can't win sometimes. I can only concentrate on what I do as a footballer and scoring goals is what I do best."

Keane, contracted to Spurs until the end of season 2012/2013, added: "If I continue to do that [score hat-tricks] and help the team then that is the important thing."

Prior to his loan spell at Celtic, Keane had scored six Premier League goals in 20 appearances for Tottenham. Four came against Burnley and the other two were scored versus Sunderland and Hull.
