Tuncay chasing Middlesbrough for cash
Stoke City striker Tuncay Sanli is chasing former club Middlesbrough for unpaid fees.
The Daily Mail says Tuncay claims Boro, his employers between 2007 and 2009, still owe him a total of £544,677 in unpaid image, sporting and economic rights.
It is claimed Boro agreed to pay him a total of £3,544,677 for those rights when he first joined them, but have so far paid £3m.
Tuncay's relationship with his old club is further soured by a second High Court lawsuit against Middlesbrough in which his agent is claiming £400,000 plus interest in unpaid fees.
It is alleged that Mikel Eiguren Arano has only received £800,000 of an agreed £1.2m package for his services in handling Tuncay's free transfer from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2007.
