Newcastle United are struggling to reach an agreement with Manchester City for defender Nedum Onuhoa.

The Sunday Sun says Newcastle would also struggle in any bid for Onuhoa, who is thought to have little interest in moving to St James’ Park while his former City colleague Joey Barton is a Newcastle player.

Everton are also keen on the want-away City defender.
