Default New to the Forum and the EPL

Hello everyone! I am from Chicago, IL, USA. I have been a long time supporter of the USMNT and supporter of the Chicago Fire in the MLS. However, following the World Cup, my friends and I are trying to break into the EPL.

We're each adopting a club based on our own criteria. I have narrowed it down to Liverpool FC and Arsenal.

I really appreciate the tradition/history of Liverpool but I am intrigued by the style of play employed by Arsenal. I have always enjoyed watching Gerrard play, but I don't want to select a team based on one player (especially one that may not be around much longer!).

Any thoughts/help?

Again, thanks for allowing me to be a part of the community. I know there is a lot for me to learn and I'm excited to do it.

Hey apriest,

Welcome to EPLForum.com, First off thanks for signing up to this upcoming forum. Secondly on your EPL team of choice Liverpool and Arsenal both have a great history in the Premier League. I think Arsenal are in a more better position than Liverpool at the moment. Personally it all comes down to how the team play. Have any of your other friends signed up to the site?

If you need anything don't hesitate to contact me here.
