David Beckham would no doubtingly love to return to Manchester United as a sporting director if the opportunity came up.

The former England captain had a very successful time at United winning 6 Premier League medals, 2 FA cup medals, UEFA Champions League medal, An Intercontinental Cup medal and 4 FA Community Shield medals but his biggest achievement was the year of 1999 where Beckham helped Manchester United to the famous 'Treble'.

In recent times David has been linked to wealthy Paris St Germain as a player but has never made any secret of his desire to one day go back to United and he would even be prepared to occupy a role behind the scenes.

David Beckham has seen his former Real Madrid team-mate Zinedine Zidane take up a similar role at the Bernabeu, Beckham said with regard to United: "I'd love to do that."

Beckham also said that "The best memory of my career came in 1999, no doubt, when Manchester United won the treble. In my opinion, no cluv can repeat that feat."
