Liverpool are keeping tabs on Barcelona starlet Nolito – but the Anfield outfit faces a fight with some of Europe's top clubs.

Spanish forward Nolito has scored four goals and been awarded five assists in Barcelona's B team already this season.

Fiorentina, Monaco, Benfica, Panathinaikos and Spartak Moscow have all been linked with the 24-year-old striker and now Liverpool have been added to the list of the player's admirers.

Nolito's contract expires next summer meaning he will be able to open talks with clubs from January.

He joined the club in July 2008 and made his debut for the first team at the start of October, featuring in the last 12 minutes of a 1-1 draw with Mallorca in La Liga.
