Albert Reira looks set to complete a move to Russia before the close of their transfer window in April. The Spaniard looks set to leave Liverpool for Moscow, with Spartak Moscow favourites to sign the winger after CSKA Moscow said they'd not be following up an initial interest.

The Spanish international publicly slammed Reds Boss Rafa last week, some of what he said might have been true but it wasn't going to do his chances of having a long term future with the club any good, and also had a run in with a reserve player so looks destined to leave before the Thursday 8 April Russian transfer deadline.

A move to Russia is something that Riera has already said he'd be open to, which is perhaps why he had his outburst, and with his wife being Russian this would make the move easier.
