Inter land Lazio youngster Marco Davide Faraoni
Inter Milan have announced the signing of on a four-year contract.
The highly-rated defender had come to the end of his contract at Lazio and Inter reportedly beat off competition from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United to secure Faraoni's signature.
The 18-year-old, who failed to make a first-team appearance for his boyhood club, will move to the Giuseppe Meazza on a free transfer having committed himself to the European champions until 2014.
Faraoni had been at Lazio for almost 10 years but admitted he chose to leave as he feels the club is no longer promoting its youth players.
The youngster has been a member of Italy's Under 19 squad and is one of the first signings under new Inter coach Rafa Benitez.
