Default Terry fears City title challenge

John Terry believes Manchester City are now serious title contenders.

Chelsea are still top of the table but City are only two points behind and have already beaten Carlo Ancelotti's men at Eastlands.

So Terry believes Roberto Mancini's side can challenge for the trophy.

He said: "They have certainly got the players to do so. Any big side going there is going to find it difficult because City always raise their game and it's probably the smaller sides they have found difficult to put away. But they certainly have the quality, we know that from the way they played against us."

Chelsea are in Champions League action next and Terry admits he can’t decide which trophy he would rather win - another title or a European Cup.

"It's a tough one! You can't prioritise one in front of the other. The Champions League is a massive trophy which we haven't won and we want it. But the league is so important, we have the best league in the world here and the best team wins it. We want that to be us."
