Wanderers set to swoop for Portsmouth FC striker Nugent
Bolton Wanderers are reportedly set to move for Portsmouth FC striker David Nugent.
Portsmouth have to slash their wage bill and are desperately trying to jettison players in an effort to raise revenue.
They remain in administration following their financial collapse caused by the club’s previous management regime.
Nugent is expected to be next off the payroll, with Wanderers one of the clubs interested in signing him.
Reebok chief Owen Coyle signed Nugent on loan for Burnley when he was manager at Turf Moor last season.
