Steve Kean, Blackburn Rovers’ first team coach is being linked with a managerial move to Kilmarnock. Reports have suggested that the Scottish club wanted the 42-year-old as their first choice replacement for Jimmy Calderwood, who kept them in the SPL this season.

According to sources, Sam Allardyce is determined to hold on to Kean whilst in the meantime, Kean himself has allegedly knocked back any suggestions that he could be off to another club.
