Olsson hits a brace on debut whilst Pedersen is matchwinner
MARTIN Olsson made it an international debut to remember with a brilliant brace for Sweden as they defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina 4-2 in Stockholm.
The Rovers winger started the game on the bench, but made an immediate impact after his 66th minute introduction when less than 90 seconds later he had regained the lead for Sweden.
Seven minutes from time the 22-year-old extended Sweden's lead with another goal. The match would go onto end 4-2 in the Swede's favour.
In Oslo Morten Gamst Pedersen proved to be the matchwinner for Norway as they defeated Montenegro.
Norway lead at the break, but Montenegro levelled nine minutes from time before the Rovers midfielder popped up with the winner in the 89th minute.
Completing a good Saturday for Rovers' representatives on international duty, Ryan Nelsen captained New Zealand to an impressive 1-0 win over Serbia in Klagenfurt, Austria.
