Default Boss seeks Hart alternative

Birmingham City are planning a move for Manchester United keeper Ben Foster if they fail to bring Joe Hart back for next season.
Hart's future at Eastlands is still unclear due to the presence of Shay Given and with Arsenal rumoured to be targeting his services, Blues boss Alex McLeish is being forced to consider a 'plan B'.

A season-long loan for Foster could suit all parties with United also thought to be in the market for a new keeper this summer after the England international failed to make the most of his opportunity to dislodge veteran Edwin van der Sar earlier this season.

McLeish said: "I would not rule out another loan for a keeper. That is a situation I would be happy to do again.

"I think we all know the Premier League and the likely candidates to be allowed out on loan, but so do a lot of other clubs too."

This should be good for Ben Foster as he certainly isn't breaking into the United side anytime soon
